Dr. Asaf Aleem
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Aleem joined the Park Royal team as Chief Medical Officer in January 2019. Prior to taking on this role, he served as medical director and director of ECT at Peachford Hospital in Atlanta and as assistant professor in the psychiatry departments of Emory University and Wayne State University.
He is also a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Georgia Psychiatric Physicians Association, International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, and American Geriatrics Society. He graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India, and was a research fellow with Washington University School of Medicine. He has been board-certified in adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 1987 and specializes in ECT and TMS.
